Day 1 (Phuentsholing)
Welcome to your ‘Super saver Bhutan Ex-Bagdogra’ tour. On arrival at Bagdogra airport,you will be received by our representative, who will be waiting outside for well come and proceed for Phuentsholing (980 ft./142 km/3 hours), through the lush green as well as most beautiful Tea garden in Dooars. On arrival at Phuentsholing, The most rapidly growing town in Bhutan checks in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing. (Meals: Dinner)
Day 2 (Thimpu)
Phuentsholing – Thimphu (150 Kms/04 hours drive) – After breakfast proceeds for Thimphu – The capital city of Bhutan. On a short drive visit Kharbandi Gompa to get a breathtaking view of Phuentsholing also the Indian plains. On the way we will reach the highest point of about 2800m/9,185ft. On arrival at Thimphu check into your hotel Overnight stay in Thimphu. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 3 (Thimpu)
After breakfast, proceed on a city tour of Thimphu visit National Handicraft Emporium, Bhutanese traditional paper factory, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha statue.
National Handicraft Emporium: These is a government runned emporium shop wherein you get to see good range of masks, paintings, textiles, and carved wooden items such as traditional food bowls and arra pots.
Bhutanese traditional paper factory: The Jungshi handmade paper factory uses traditional methods to produce the authentic Bhutanese paper known as Deh-sho. The Jungshi paper factory continues to preserve and promote this age-old Bhutanese tradition.
The National Memorial Chorten: Built in memory of Third Druk Gyalpo and is dedicated to World Peace. The chorten is a large white structure crowned with a golden spire.
Buddha statue: Great Buddha Dordenma is a gigantic Shakyamuni Buddha statue in the mountains of Bhutan celebrating the 60th anniversary of fourth king Jigme Singye Wangchuck.The Statue is made of bronze and gilded in gold.The statue is regarded as one of the largest Buddha statue in the world at a height of 169 feet. Later, we drive back to our hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure for shopping on your own. Overnight stay at Thimphu. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 4 (punakha)
After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass, stop at Druk Wangyal Chorten from here you could have a panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range when the weather is clear. On the way, stop and visit Chimmi Lhakhang temple – the most well-known temple of Bhutan which stands tall on a round hillock in a village called Punakha. In the afternoon, visit the majestic Punakha Dzong – the most beautiful dzong in the country, especially in spring when the lilac-coloured jacaranda trees bring a lush sensuality to the dzong’s characteristically towering whitewashed walls. Later, check in to the hotel.Overnight stay at Punakha. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 5 (Paro)
After breakfast, drive to Paro and on the way visit Paro Dzong – located on the rocky outcrop of the steep hillside overlooking both sides of the valley drive back to the town. In the afternoon, visit the old ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, 17th century fortress that used to keep invaders from Tibet and in 1951 the fort was destroyed by fire. The rest of the evening is at leisure for Independent activities. Overnight stay Paro. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner).
Day 6 (Paro)
Early morning After breakfast, drive till the base of the world famous Tiger’s Nest. Later hike for 5-6 hours.
The Tiger’s Nest Monastery is a sacred Buddhist site located near Paro, Bhutan. It was constructed in 1692.There is a legend that Guru Rinpoche was carried from Tibet to this location on the back of a tigress, thus giving it the name “Tiger’s Nest.” On the way to town, visit Kyichu Lhakhang one of Bhutan’s two oldest and most sacred monasteries dating from the introduction of Buddhism in the 7th century. Overnight stay at Paro. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)
Please note:
Due to its location, the only way to get to the monastery is by hiking. There are no vehicles that make the drive up to the monastery. However, for those who cannot hike the entire way, you can hire a horse on your own to carry you most of the way there.
Guests who are not visiting Tiger nest will be on leisure basis.
Day 7 (Phuentsholing)
After breakfast, we drive towards Phuentsholing. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
Day 8 (Bagdogra)
Today we conclude our ‘Super saver Bhutan Ex-Bagdogra’ tour. You will be transferred to Airport in Bagdogra with sweet memories of the tour.

All transfers & sightseeing using Non AC Hiace/Coaster /Similar. (We shall arrange a common pick & Drop facility. So, request you to book your onward & return flights arriving and departing from Bagdogra by 12:00 pm to arrange transfers hassle free.)
The Vehicle will be as per the itinerary on point to point basis and not on disposal basis.

Entrance Fees for museums and monuments, Upgradation Charges and Optional Tours to be paid by the guests directly on the spot.
Any additional costs because of additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle other than mentioned in the itinerary will be recovered directly from the guests. Such additional costs are also applicable for usage of vehicle and guide beyond the specified time or normal working hours as mentioned above.
Any cost arising due to unforeseen events like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc. Such expenses will be recovered directly from the guests on the spot.
Any increase in government taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
