Day 1 (Rome)
Welcome to Rome! On arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Our guide will greet you at the hotel and will provide all the necessary information about your tour. In the evening you will be taken to the Trastevere area. This neighbourhood will be a great introduction to Rome with a stroll through the narrow, cobbled streets of the Trastevere district revealing hidden treasures such as some modest medieval churches, small shops with the most peculiar of objects or scenes of daily life. Indian dinner included. Return to hotel.
Day 2 (Rome)
In the morning you will leave for a tour of the city which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. Your tour includes a visit to Vatican City, a principal centre of Christianity in the world, where you will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. We have also included admission to the Roman Coliseum, the principal symbol of Rome. This impressive construction dates back 2,000 years and will transport you back in time to the Roman Empire. Indian dinner included.
Day 3 (Florence)
you will leave Rome heading north to Florence on a route graced with beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in Florence, you will head straight to neoclassical Piazzale Michelangelo, an impressive plaza in the heart of the city. In the evening, we provide a walking tour with a local expert that will take you through the historic centre, through places such as the Ponte Vecchio; a medieval stone arched bridge, the Duomo, one of the most visited places in the world, and the stunning Piazza Della Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum Indian dinner included.
Day 4 (Venice)
Enjoy scenic mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains on your way to Venice. On arrival, you will board a Vaporetto to travel around on the canals in the historic centre. With a local guide, visit Saint Mark´s Square, one of Italy’s most recognizable sights, and enter the magnificent Basilica (entry cost included). Later in the day, you will be able to visit the Murano glass factory city and witness the uniquely Venetian crystal blowing technique. At the end of the day, you will have the chance to have dinner in an Indian restaurant (included)
Day 5 (INNSBRUCK)
You will depart from Venice, travelling to Austria! Arriving at Innsbruck you will have time to stroll in the historic centre and have lunch After this, you travel through the Alps to Kitzbühel, a popular ski resort that sees snow throughout the year. Dinner included (vegetarian option possible). Note: In case of a few travellers on the trip, the journey from Venice to Innsbruck may be done by a train.
Day 6 (SALZBURG)
Today you make your way to the historic city of Salzburg. Your guide accompanies you to the beautiful streets of the historic centre of this city declared a World Heritage site. You will then continue to Vienna, past delightful lakes and mountains. You will stop at St. Wolfgang, a famous place of pilgrimage in Austria and then on to Traunkirchen along with the very beautiful Traunsee lake, where we include a cruise on the lake to see four castles, disembarking in Gmunden. You will arrive in Vienna at the end of the afternoon. Indian dinner included.
Day 7 (Vienna)
Explore this magnificent city with a local expert. You will experience its majestic avenues, its palaces and the vibrant city centre. Then, head the Schönbrunn Palace where visitors can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful gardens. After lunch, enjoy the afternoon in the city centre. In the evening you will go to the City Hall Square to enjoy the lighting and the nightlife in the neighbouring streets. Indian dinner included.
Day 8 (Budapest)
Today you depart for Hungary. You have a little under a 3-hour trip to Budapest. Discover the “Queen of the Danube” on a scenic tour of the city. This city is divided by the Danube river, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopoli¬tan “Pest” on the opposite bank. After time for lunch, you will take a boat tour along the Danube River that promises impressive views of the city and parliament. There will be time at the end of the day in the lively area of Vaci Utca, where there are lots of little restaurants serving cuisine from different countries. Indian dinner included.
Day 9 (Prague)
You will leave Budapest for Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube with an attractive historic centre. You will be given time to explore the city and have lunch, included. After lunch, you will continue on your way to the Czech Republic. Arriving in Prague in the evening. We provide transport to take you to the Old Town Square. This central location is full of energy and a marvellous place to acquaint yourselves with Prague. Indian dinner included.
Day 10 (Prague)
Today you will take a tour of the baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide a guided city tour, which will include all of the city’s attractions. During the tour, you will visit the iconic Prague Castle (admission included). Later, you shall take a boat tour on the river Vltava and enjoy the sights of the city from the water. You will have the afternoon free to explore Prague. In the evening, you will be taken to the historic city centre to enjoy Prague’s vibrant nightlife. Indian dinner included.
Day 11 (Prague)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and head to the airport for your flight back home, marking the end of our services.
