Detail Itinerary
Day 1 (cairo)
Welcome to Egypt! On your arrival at the Cairo International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You will then dine at a local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 (cairo)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a full day guided tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Your tour will also include stops at the Lord of the Sphinx, a creature carved from natural bedrock with the head of a man and body of a lion, the Egyptian Museum and the Papyrus Institute. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant during your sightseeing tour. You will then board an overnight train taking you from Cairo to Aswan. Dinner will be served on board and you will stay overnight on the train
Day 3 (Aswan)
After a delicious breakfast on board the train, you will proceed to Aswan. Your tour of the ancient city of Aswan will include the Philae Temple, the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and a perfume factory. At the end of your tour, you will check in for your Nile Cruise. Enjoy lunch on board the cruise as you sail down the longest river in the world. Dig into a sumptuous dinner and stay overnight on board the Nile Cruise at Aswan
Day 4 (Aswan)
Breakfast is served onboard after which you pay a visit to the Kom Ombo Temple, an unusual double temple that dates back to 180 BC. You will then sail to the city of Edfu, dining on board your Nile Cruise.
Day 5 (Aswan)
Enjoy breakfast on board your Nile Cruise before you arrive at the historic city of Edfu. Take a tour of Edfu Temple with an Egyptologist before returning to the ship for lunch. Sail to Luxor according to the opening of Esna Lock and transfer to the East Bank of Luxor for a tour that includes the Luxor Temple and the Temple of Karnak. Dinner will be served onboard the cruise.
Day 6 (Aswan)
Disembark from the cruise ship after breakfast. You will then be transferred to the West Bank of Luxor for a guided tour that includes Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon, Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant during your sightseeing tour and take an overnight train from Luxor to Cairo. Dinner will be served onboard the train.
Day 7 (cairo)
Enjoy breakfast on board the train. On your arrival in Cairo. Station you will be received and transferred to the international airport for your onward flight marking the end of our services
